Advanced Xplorers Academy

We offer Advanced Xplorer sessions weekly on a Thursday evening designed specifically for young people aged 11 to 16 years with a passion for technology and digital creativity. These are open to complete beginners. These engaging, hands-on sessions provide the perfect environment for students to explore more advanced areas of computing in a supportive and inspiring setting. We delve into a variety of topics, helping learners broaden their knowledge and deepen their understanding. Some of the areas we explore include: -Coding in Python – Learn one of the world’s most widely-used programming languages, ideal for automating tasks, building apps & creating games. -Web Development – Get to grips with HTML and CSS -Project Work – Build and develop your own digital projects. -3D Design & 3D Printing - Design digital models and from time to time, our very own 3D printer makes an appearance at the sessions giving students a chance to see their digital creations come to life.
